Born in Delta, Utah, Kathleen was raised in the Salt Lake Valley. Her love of animals began at a very young age. She also acquired strong interests in genealogy, photography, and nature.
Her parents made a priority of creating memories for their two daughters. Camping, motorcycling, sports, music, and exploring God’s amazing world were some of their activities.
Kathleen has been passionate about family history since childhood. Some of her most cherished memories are learning about family traditions. She has served as her family’s historian and as a consultant in her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
A fondness for maintaining organized, accurate records has been key in Kathleen’s life. This trait has aided her family history research, and photo library management.
Our author is currently living in Salt Lake City with her husband and best friend, John, her Mini Aussie, her cats, her turtle, and her two parakeets. She adores her three grown sons and considers motherhood to be one of her most cherished blessings.
