Great Captivating Adventure
The layers of characters created intrigue from the beginning. The storyline is so well planned and each character is integrated into the story with such details as to create visuals in my mind. As an historical fiction, I'm very impressed with the historical events' accuracies. I love this author's writing style and the fact that I didn't have to wade through disgusting language to get the emotional connection to the characters and situations. This is an amazing adventure that had me right from the beginning!
I loved reading this book. The Author was masterful at blending two story lines that captured and captivated me through the entire book. I could not put the book down. This is a fun, fast paced adventure that keep you wanting more!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this book - from beginning to end! I love that it stayed true to the historical facts while still weaving a fun, adventurous story. I also appreciated the journal entries at the beginning of each chapter which tied everything together towards the end. I was very happily surprised with the ending. I guess in my mind I was hoping something like that would happen, but I truthfully wasn’t expecting it.
